| Description | Giving thanks for the letter and Creak's cheque. He gives details of names to be struck off the Royal Society Club lists, and other matters arising from Club meetings. There is an extended discussion of Frankland's application to rejoin the Club and the debate around this, in the light of Club rules, with equal numbers for and against. He gives a motion which was carried, for circulation to Club members. Sclater and Boys proposed F E Beddard, and Scott should note the name. Thorpe has written to Lister to apprise him of his election. |
