He note the memorandum he sent on the costs of the joint dinner between the Clubs and asks if he should send a cheque for £7 5s as he thought was agreed. He must settle this before the Philosophical Club's anniversary meeting. He suspects that the Club will move to Limmer's Hotel. He asks for advice on the price of claret and apologises for troubling Hulke.
