TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr John Naugle, Associate Administrator, Space Science, Code S, NASA Headquarters, Washington DC
Date20 November 1973
DescriptionThanks him for the invitatio to the Jupiter fly-by. It is indeed a historic event, and Gold would have liked to attend. However, at present he feels the research funds are so short he cannot justify using them for this.

He hopes he can be informed of the results quickly, even at Cornell, and he certainly plans to take part in future discussions concerning their significance.

He will write concerning the matter they discussed on November 16.
