There is one item of information he needs most urgently, and that is the law of fall-off from center to limb that Thompson used to prepare the maps. Asks he send it to Gold as a graph or analytical form. Also Thompson will have prepared an overlay lunar map, and a copy of that would be useful, so they do not have to duplicate the work. Wishes him good luck for the next round of observations. Gold thinks this is very important, and would like Thompson to become a better salesman for his wares so that more notice is taken of this basic lunar function. |
