Corrected typescript of additions to Weart interview with Gold - includes the two important topics in Gold's scientific work, that of the account of the development of the interpretation of pulsars as rotating neutron stars, and more recently the discussion of outgassing of the Earth, its relation to earthquakes and to the problem of sources of fuel.
Also includes Inser A (page 36) relating to his work in the Cavendish Laboratory in 1947 or 8, and his account of the experiment he suggested for a bubble chamber which Professor D R Frisch told him it would work but would be of no use, but which was subsequently 'invented' by Glaser and for which he received the Nobel prize.
