TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr Daniel H Deutsch, 141 Kenworthy Drive, Pasadena, California
Date14 September 1978
DescriptionAppreciates his general comments, and largely agrees with them - except that no referees would be willing to devote that much time. Probably could not - more bad papers can be written than could ever be refereed by competent referees in the manner Deutsch suggests.

Specifically Gold will consider Deutsch's suggestion further if he could supply any reason why the 21 cm line would often have the same shift as the stellar lines.
