DescriptionGold was very glad to hear from Ernst. Asks if he will see him in Heidelberg. He expects to be there on December 12 and 13, and is expecting to give a lecture there on the subject of 'Outgassing of the Earth and the Sources of Terestrial Carbon' on December 13 at 2.00 pm.

Gold will be most interested to hear of his work, and of all the aspects of gas in relation to earthquakes that he has studied.

States Professor Volk at the MPI fur Kernphysik in Heidelberg will be Gold's host and he will arrange his schedule for the two days he expects to be there.
