TitleLetter from Carrie Gold to Professor William S Penhallow, Deartment of Physics, University 0f Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island
Date5 March 1979
DescriptionConfirming titles chosen are satisfactory. The talk that would be more appropriate for a public lecture is 'Mars: the icy planet'.

States Professor Gold has ben working recently on two other areas of research and could give talks on these instead of the ones already mentioned if they appeal to him. They ae;
'Terrestrial Sources of Carbon and Earthquake, Outgassing' (well suited for a public lecture)

'The Rings of Uranus' (rather technical and better for a physics audience.)

Would be happy to send more material on these subjects if he is interested.
