TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr J L Locke, Director, Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics, National Research Council, Ottawa, K1A 0R6, Canada
Date29 January 1979
DescriptionAccepts his invitation to visit Ottawa and give a colloquium on 'Terrestrial Sources of Carbon and Earthquake Outgassing'. States the paper on this is now published in Journal of Petroleum Gology, Vol 1, No 3, January 1979.

Gold could also give an astronomical talk at that time, as Locke suggests, possibly the explanation of the rings of Uranus.

At present June seems open, but not September and perhaps they can settle on June 1, or if this is not suitable for Locke, on June 8.
