| Description | Discusses Cocconi's comments on pulsars and polarization problem. Describes how he also has plotted the pulsar periods and agrees with Cocconi's conclusions. Thanks Cocconi for arranging a winter job for him at CERN, would like to work with him on the question of the acceleration mechanism in a rotating magnetosphere, on the origin of cosmic rays if they arise in pulsars and on the questions of the resulting obervable effects in the cosmic ray beam. Will of course be skiing but this will not conflict with scientific work. |
