TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr P A Merton, Trinity College, Cambridge, England
Date6 July 1971
DescriptionThanks him for his letter. Will find out who at Cornell would be most closely in touch with Brian Josephs, and Gold will do what he can to see that he has a gentle and even time while he is here. He will of course try to meet him, as Merton says he is an interesting person. They will see whether his daily contact with Simpson, Burnaby etc actually helped him to keep his balance, or whether it was that that pushed him over the edge.
