TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr R Drew, Office of Science and Technology, Executive Office Building, Washington DC
Date31 August 1971
DescriptionThe NASA management seems to be unreasonably upset about Gold's article in The New York Times. Drew knows of course that it was written from a position of genuine concern that the program is now seriously misdirected, both in relation to science, applications and the puboic evaluation of national priorities. Godl is very concened about this reaction and hopes that the whole question will come to the attention of PSAC before very long. Please could Drew let Gold know if he can help in any way.
