DescriptionA figure submitted alongside a paper which was published by Leared in volume 18 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'On the presence of sulphocyanides in the blood and urine'. The figure shows four rectangles coloured in red ink, which is progressively diluted to indicate smaller quantities of sulpho-cyanide of potassium in the saliva.

A note reads 'Plate not published in Proc.'
