DescriptionDuhamel provides a theorem and proof of a new method to determine longitude when at sea, both with the help of a chronometer and without. The first two pages are an incomplete manuscript in English, containing primarily the theorem and proof, with the second two pages beginning in the middle of a French mansucript refuting four objections to Duhamel's methods.
