TitleUnpublished paper, 'On the formation of aerolithes in connection with electricity' by A Wall
CreatorWall; A (fl 1846)
Date1846
DescriptionWall discusses electrical phenomena which coincide with volcanic eruptions, and describes a plan for the application of voltaic electricity in the manufacture of metals. Experiments into the use of voltaic electricity in the manufacture of metals have produced results which have affirmed Wall's ideas regarding the nature and formation of aerolithes or meteoric bodies. He outlines the general composition of aerolithes, suggesting that the metals and earthy matter denote volcanic origins.
