DescriptionDeclarations by tenants and other eyewitnesses relating to the body of an unidentified sea snake or fish that was washed ashore at Rothiesholm in Stronsay, one of the Orkney Islands [Scotland]. The witnesses describe the discovery of the fish, their thoughts on what it might be, and the appearance of the fish over time as it decomposed, including descriptions of its internal organs. The declarations are dated the 10th, 19th, and 24th of November 1808.
