DescriptionSound film opening with several men standing next to a microphone. The first speaker is Lord Edgar Adrian, PRS 1950-1955, the second speaker is Akexander Nesmeyanov (1899-1980) President of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. The film was likely made during a reception at Burlington House held by the Royal Society for a group of visiting Russian scientists on 24th November 1955.
