TitleLetter from John Blagden, Gray's Inn to Charles Blagden
Date27 June 1775
DescriptionHas called at Ramsden's several times to see if his messages were left. The mourning ends 4 July but as Vizard and Phelps were in town he was obliged to attend them to the fireworks on Tower Hill on Thursday and so he was prevented from being at the Club. Reports that [HMS] Endeavour has arrived. Was to go to Hampshire but Sir John preferred Morlands to go. Comments on how stocks remain high despite the news from America. Will report any interesting conversation should there be any on Thursday.
