DescriptionDiscusses Colonel Dixon and his account of the collapse of a mountain in the Alps, it was written in Italian as he was employed by the Council at Venice. Has been as Landulph on the banks of the Tamar in Cornwall and describes church and monument there to Theodorus Paleologus, a descendent of Thomas, brother of Constantine Paleologus, Emperor of the Byzantine Christian Empire. Asks questions about "a gross imposture" and stories in the paper, asks do they refer to Herschel's comet and if it is true that a ship was set on fire by fermentation in the bread room.
