DescriptionDiscusses his wish for Curtis to visit Gloucester, hopes Mr Draper will join them. Discusses the ladies at Monk's Mill, recommends that Curtis pass on to them Blagden's copy of [Jean Francois] Marmontel, his favourite author, recommends the story "Heureusement" and another to warm the heart of Miss Sally. Advises him to read Rousseau which he "will find to be conversing with the most eloquent and feeling of men."
