DescriptionInforms Sir William Huggins that his letter [CD/48/4] on the subject of the Perth Observatory's preparation of parts of the [International] Astrographic Chart has been sent to the Premier of Western Australia. Notes that the Premier cannot admit that there has been any breach of faith by his Government [when they prepared to terminate Perth Observatory's work on the International Astrographic Chart], and that until this term is dropped from the letter, he will not consider the proposals made by the Royal Society.
