TitleLetter from John Stanley Gardiner, Whitehorn, Barton Road, Cambridge, to the Secretary of the Royal Society
Date20 April 1911
DescriptionThe enclosed indenture explains itself. Mr. Bidder has founded a research studentship in marine biology based at the Plymouth Marine Biological Station. The permanency of that association is not assured. A fresh scheme would need the sanction of an independent body. He hopes that the Society would be able to sanction clause 9.

Stamped as received by the Royal Society, 21 April 1911.
