Date28 October [1919]
DescriptionRelaying replies from others concerning support for the Roscoff Station. Professor Dendy notes that the Society should support British stations, rather than French or Italian ones. Professor Stanley Gardiner refers to the original petition: the whole thing came to grief, but it was worth it as an act of policy. Researchers will want to go to British stations, which are becoming better equipped. Herdman adds a postscript, saying that he has not yet has a response from Professor Bourne.
