DescriptionThe government have decided to offer to take over the whole responsibility for the further relief expedition. This is on the condition that the existing relief ship, the 'Morning', is handed to the Board of Admiralty who will control relief operations on behalf of the government.

The government trust that the Finance Committee will administer the remaining funds for the 'Morning'.
