DescriptionArrangements on how to reduce, tabulate and plot the meteorological observations from the 'Discovery' are to be made. This must be placed in the hands of some competent person who has time to devote to this task.

A sum of £100 will be set aside for this work. The estimated cost of the clerical work to carry out the rest of the programme is £400, making a total of £500 for the work indicated. The magentic observations will be dealt with by the Admiralty and provisions are needed for the meteorological observations.
