TitleCopy letter from Arthur Schuster, Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society, to the Secretary of the Advisory Committee for the Clearing Office (Enemy Debts), Cornwall House, Stamford Street
Date24 February 1923
DescriptionInforms the Advisory Committe for the Clearing Office about the Vienna Academy's letter, regarding the shares left to them by Dr Rudolf Poch - shares which are difficult to reclaim because of war-time procedures. Points out that the regions which Poch studied are now under British Government, and so the results of his anthropological work (which the Vienna Academy will publish, with the money from his shares) would be of value to the British Empire. Asks for assistance.
