DescriptionInforms the Royal Society that the Government is considering the measures which should be taken in connection with the study of problems of flight, by aeroplanes or dirigible balloons, and have appointed a Committee to obtain scientific advice. The Committee consists of:

Dr [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, FRS (Chairman)
Sir Alfred G. Greenhill, FRS
Mr Horace Darwin, FRS
Mr F. W. Lanchester
Mr [Henry Reginald Arulph] Mallock, FRS
Dr [William Napier] Shaw, FRS
Professor [Joseph Ernest] Petavel, FRS
Major General Sir Charles Hadden KCB (War Office representative)
Captain R. H. S. Bacon, RN, CVO, DSO (Admiralty representative).
Discusses money, and the laboratory that the Committee will need, and proposes using the National Physical Laboratory. Asks how much money is required for honoraria to members of the Advisory Committee.
