TitleLetter from Simon Flexner, the Rockerfeller Insitute for Medical Research, 66th Street and Avenue A, New York, to Professor Arthur Schuster, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date9 September 1919
Description'I am back to-day from the woods of New Hampshire, from where I wrote you a week or so ago. I find on my desk the "diploma" of the Royal Society which had not been forwarded, and I make out that the election was to Foreign Membership and not Fellowship, as I had been informed. I trust that my acknowledgement will serve for this honor, which is of course equally great and deeply appreciated.'
