TitleLetter from William Henry Eccles, The Athenaeum, Pall Mall, to James Hopwood Jeans
Date19 February 1925
DescriptionProviding notes for Jeans on the Wireless Telegraphy Bill, later used in a letter to Privy Council [CD/3/4]. He argues that while regulation is undoubtedly necessary for the proper conduct of telegraphy and telephony, the current bill might threaten to limit experimental research. Therefore, time should be allowed in order to redraft the bill. Eccles comments that he has read this over to A A Campbell Swinton, who approves.
