DescriptionSubmits a short report of the first meeting of the permanent commission of the International Seismological Association, which Arthur Schuster attended in Rome on 16-20 October. Discusses the topics covered at the meeting, including where to establish seismological stations. Informs them that Professor Palazzo was asked to become President of the Association. Hopes that Dr Milne will attend the meeting next September at The Hague. Promises to forward the minutes of the proceedings as soon as he receives them.
