TitleCopy letter from Arthur Schuster, to the Secretary of the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, Whitehall, London
Date20 June 1910
DescriptionNotes that the period of His Majesty's Government's membership to the International Association of Seismology must be coming to the end of its four years. States that the Association still has six yeas to run. Informs the Treasury that the United States and France have both joined for the whole period, and that Great Britain's withdrawal would cause serious inconvenience - partly because Arthur Schuster is President of the Association until 1912, and the next meeting will take place in Manchester in 1911. Hopes that the Government will continue forming part of the Association.
