DescriptionNotes that Dr [James C.] Philip has asked Bissel to enquire whether the new scheme for the Sensitising Dyes Research has been approved by the Royal Society's Council.

Also attached is cutting from the printed Royal Society Council Minutes of 15 July 1917. Notes that they read a letter from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research submitting a scheme for research into the production of special dyes for colour-sensitizing of photographic plates. Resolves that the scheme was accepted.
