DescriptionSuggests that the Royal Society write directly to Professsor [William Jackson] Pope, regarding his research on colour sensitising dyes. Advises them to point out to him that any unexpended balance [from his grant] should be returned to the Scientific and Industial Research Department. Also notes that if Pope proposes to continue his research, he should put his proposals before the Sectional Chemical Committee, who could then forward an application to the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
