TitleLetter from [James Hopwood Jeans], to Richard Tetley Glazebrook
Date15 May 1924
DescriptionJeans has received Glazebrook's lettre of 8 May and apologises that he will not be able to attend the Kelvin Centenary Committee, but Glazebrook should tell the committee what has been agreed upon. He gives dates when he would be available in London, during mornings, and with F. E. Smith. Jeans thinks that the Royal Society does not have any funds which are exactly suitable to spend on the Kelvin dinner; he has consulted Officers and agreed that if there appears to be a shortfall, the Society would consider giving a small contribution.
