TitleLetter from Robert Brudenell Carter, 31 Harley Street, to Sir Michael Foster
Date21 May 1900
DescriptionCarter has forwarded Foster's and Green's letters to Professor Church. Carter has heard Edridge Green speak on two occasions and was unable to understand his statements or follow his argument. He was not present at the Opthalmological Section of the British Medical Association but supposes that there were no dissenting voices because the paper was not worth 'powder and shot'. The latest contribution he knows is by Dr. William Thomson and Dr. Carl Weiland published in 1897 which states that Holgren's is the best practical method of establishing colour blindness with supplementary directions to be used in doubtful cases.
