TitleLetter from Charles Chree, Meteorological Office, Central Observatory, Kew Observatory, Richmond, Surrey, to Robert Harrison
Date10 October 1919
DescriptionHe has received a copy of a document by Sir William Napier Shaw, dated 28 July, and asks if a copy has been sent to each member of the Gassiott Committee. He does not wish Shaw to think the letter has been lying dormant in Chree's hands, although it is not clear whether Shaw wanted a special meeting of the committee to be summoned and the ordinary meeting is next month. On a second matter, Chree has received an account for copies of his penultimate paper in the Proceedings and asks if the nunber of gratis copies has been reduced - he believes he received fewer than 100 copies. If an amount is also due on his latest paper, it would be convenient to pay both at the same time.
