Description | Note in response to a letter by Charles William Eliot [CD/82/20]. Foster cannot be sure, but thinks that the agreement was that the Royal Society should directly nominate a person to the administrative committee of the Biological Station at Bermuda. The people suggested by Eliot are not Fellows and are not known to the Society. In that case, a reply should state that no object can be gained by nominating such a person. |
