DescriptionCalling the Prime Minster's attention to an enclosed petition sent last Autumn, but which may have escaped attention due to the death of Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman. The present vacancy presents the opportunity to hold an inquiry into the governance of the Natural History Museum. This is necessary to maintain the Museum's leading position and to ensure the proper supervison of public funds. With eighteen names added in manuscript at the foot of the letter.
