DescriptionGiving thanks for Prain's letter and confirming that he and Mr. Collinette will call upon Prain. With a note in ink by Prain, giving an account of the meeting: Lord Haldane had informed the attendees (Commander Blair and Mr. Collinette) that the Royal Society had considerable funds and that they should apply for assistance. Prain explained that in his opinion it was not worth their applying and that he would not advocate for them if they did.
