TitleLetter from Alfred Clarence Redfield, Paisley, to Joseph Barcroft
Date3 August 1921
DescriptionRedfield considers that the expedition might be of interest to 'the morning picture people' and will get in touch with New York producers. He may be able to 'pull their leg' for the loan of a camera and $500-$1,000 for an educational film. He asks if he should go ahead and if other supporters might object? His idea would be to take pictures in Peru then cooperate in putting together material to show the simpler aspects of life at high altitude and how it is studied. He is having a holiday with Macleod, who is anxious to contribute financially - he wishes to do the lactic acids in Toronto, asking for funds there. He hopes that Barcroft is safely in France and he should write to Redfield at Harvard.
