DescriptionMr. Berry has suggested writing to Cooper directly about the Peru Expedition. The American party will arrive two weeks in advance of the British, reaching Lima about 1 December. They will aclimatize at 8,000 feet before proceeding to Oroya for two more days, then to Cerro del Pasco, staying for some weeks. Investigations would be completed at the highest point of the line, Ticlio. He asks if this is a feasible itinerary and enquires about electric power voltages and current. Mr. Berry intimated that a car would be placed at their disposal and a Spanish speaking doctor.
