DescriptionAcknowledging the receipt of Fitzmaurice's letter. Council does not meet until 4 July and therefore the President has agreed that Dr. Rose Bradford should represent the Royal Society at the International Conference on Sleeping Sickness to be held at the Foreign Office. He expresses surprise that the Royal Society has not been consulted in the matter, given the work on sleeping sickness that has been done by the Society over many years.
