DescriptionLists the length of time of the globe's submersion in the sea alongside the depth [in yards] of the line underwater. Notes that the time was measured by the vibrations of a piece of lead hung at a small pack-thread of about 39 2/10 inches measured from the centre of gravity of the lead.
