Description | Paper regarding a way of making two inflammable liquids which, when mixed together, produce a carnation colour without any fermentation or alteration. The first liquid is made from soaking dried red roses in spirit of wine [purified alcohol], and the second from mixing purified alcohol with spirit of vitriol [sulphuric acid].
