Description | Two papers describing post mortems, the first of a man who died of consumption, and second of a woman who died of dropsy [oedema]. Kidney stones, water, and a pancreatic tumour were found in the abdomen of the man. The woman had suffered for six years of oedema of the stomach. She was found to have a great deal of fluid in her abdomen as well as hydatids.
