Administrative history | Part of the changes made to Corporate Governance as a result of the Bide Report of 1994, which heralded the introduction of the two major committees reporting to Council: Strategy Policy Board (successor to the Officers Meetings) and Finance and General Purposes Committee, and also included a recommendation for a new management structure and the concept of 'lead officer' , all of which were adopted. In 2008 both the Strategy and Policy Board and the Finance and General Purposes Committee were amalgamated to form The Board. |
