DescriptionInforms the Colonial Office that Dr H L Duke and Miss Robertson are completing their experiments at Mpumu -- that Dr Duke proposes to travel to Ankole to study cattle and big game as possible reservoirs of sleeping sickness -- that Miss Robertson proposes to travel to Khartoum to study the splenomegaly of dogs. Notes that the Tropical Diseases Committee could not approve Miss Robertson's proposal. Gives the Committee's view that the laboratory in Mpumu continue in operation, and that Sir David Bruce might be given leave to attend the International Medical Congress with a view to returning to Nyasaland and directing operations there. p63-64.
