1. Confirmed and signed minutes of meeting held on 27 June 1938 and of the opinions of correspondecen in April 1939, June 1939, October 1939 and November 1944

2. Darwin Centenary Celebrations - after discussion the following recommendations were agreed;
(1) that Dr Pantin's proposal of a reverse Beagle-route voyage would be scientifically worth while.
(2) that Dr Pantin in collaboration with Dr Huxley be invited to draw up a detailed memorandum outlining the course of the voyage, giving a scientific programme and an estimate of the number of scientists required
(3) that the Commonwealth countries be consulted through their national academies and asked to suggest men and means to collaborate
(4) that steps be taken to find out if the 'Discovery' would be available for such a voyage and what the cost would be.
