3. Attitude of Industry to Technologists

4. The Definition of a technologist - considered not useful for committee to pronounce a definition - a change of spirit was needed rather than a new definition or a new name

5. Methods of Training - present methods discussed in light of future developments in technology

6. Helping young people to have a better appreciation of the importance of Technology - need to improve the schoolboy's image of the inventor and engineer - to suggest to Sir Lawrence Bragg that the Royal :Institution's lectures to school childrent might be selected with the purpose of improving young people's appreciation fo technology.

7. Next meeting - to be arranged after meeting proposed in Minute 3 of the Engineering Institutions Joint Council has taken place.
