Matters discussed;
1. Mintes of meeting held on 2 October 1963 [ TC/20 (63)]

2. Meeting with representatives of the EIJC - report of this Committee [ TC/1 (64)] circulated to the committee and submitted to Council

3. Technologists in the Royal Society. After discussion, it was agreed to recommend to Council;
3i. That the Society should not support proposals for a separate elite Society for Technologists
3ii. That the Society should take steps to ensure that the elite of technologists is included in the Fellowship
3iii. That a statement of pollicy regarding the 'useful arts' should be made within the Society
3iv. That the annual elections should be increased from 25 to 30 as soon as possible
3v. That an additional sectional committee for the 'useful arts' be formed
3vi. That Council should show a sympathetic bias towards technologists in elections made in the first year of 30 elections
3vii. That considertion also be given to an extra bonus election of 5 technologists in the first year of 30 regular elections

4. Lectures for schoolchildren - Sir Arnold Hall, Professor Gabor and Dr R Spence invited to join Chairman in a meeting with the EIJC, British Association and Royal Institution on 12 March 1963 to discuss ways of introducing more technology into lectures for schoolchildren.

5. Conferences for schoolmasters - future discussions for arrangements

6. Meeting with industrialists - after discussion iwth representative sof EIJC held on 13 December 1963 [TC/20 (63)] agreed would be inappropriate for the Royal Society to call a meeting of industrialists to speak about the salaries of technologists.

7. University training - electirical engineering - agreed to give further consideration to papers by Professor F C Williams on this subject

8. Lectures on technology - Proposal by Sir Arnold HAll that there shoudl be more lectures on technology in the Society's programme to be taken to the Hooke Committee by Mr G B R Feilden
